[meanwhile, bk with Wander n co, Awesome has decided to offer his ship to them n to adventure with them while Sylvia n Wander go thru their pregnancy. By then, Wander's morning sickness has eased up n his cravings started settling in]

Fistfighter: [runs into the command center in panic] Sir! Sir!

Awesome: Hm? Sup, little dude?

Fistfighter: U better go to the cafeteria quick! The chef is hving a fit!

Awesome: Eh? What fo-... :O Uh oh. (hurries)

Brad: [was already at the cafeteria staring in morbid fascination at the scene before him, surrounded by other Fistfighters] ^^;;

Awesome: (arrived on the scene) ... :O Oh damn.

Wander: (was gobbling down noodle dishes non stop)

Sylvia: [was eating tons of dishes as well as a whole bunch of baked goods, stacking the empty dishes higher n higher; she seemed to hv the luck of the draw of not having morning sickness, bt her appetite cravings were double of Wander's]

Brad: Oh boy... [looking at the chef throwing a fit complaining tht they were running out of ingredients n was abt to faint] U better handle tht little man, buddy ^^;;

[a couple weeks passed, n while Wander n Sylvia were being well looked after, Hater n co were abt a day away from Planet Skeletor]

Peepers: (looking out the window)

Hater: [was sitting next to the computer, waiting for the vid call from his dad, his face looking tired n has a bit of dark rings below his eyes, clearly being plagued by his nightmares again]

Peepers: ...Been up late again?

Hater: [jumped a little] Geez, wat is it with u n showing up unannounced wen I'm deep in thought? >:C

Peepers: ^^; Just asking.

Hater: [huffed n looked bk at the screen] Just waiting for my dad to call me bk. It's been a couple of weeks since I left tht voicemail. They better gimme a good reason for it

Peepers: I'm sure they do, Sir. (rubbed at his eye) (tired)

Hater: Wat r u doing up anyways? Shouldn't u be in bed?

Peepers: Couldn't stop thinking... of stuff...

Hater: Abt tht zbornak again? :^)

Peepers: Is that really a bad thing, Sir?

Hater: |-( ...whatever. U do u... [a vid call came in] Finally [answered the call] Hello?

Fury: Hey, son, sorry for the late call

Hater: Yeah, well, it's not like I sent the msg two weeks ago |-( [sarcasm]

Fury: Well it's not easy convincing ur mother abt telling u the truth, bt she finally caved, since u hv to know sooner or later. Where r u?

Hater: I'm roughly a day away from arriving to u guys. I was thinking if u hadn't reply my voicemail, I'd barge right in n demand answers

Peepers: ^^;; Sir...

Fury: [noticed Peepers] Hello, Commander. Didn't see u there

Peepers: (wave) Lord Fury.

Fury: U sure u want him in on this conversation?

Hater: He's fine. I've got nothing to hide from him. Like u said, coming out sooner or later, right?

Hater: So tell me, wats the deal with Mom? Why is she so dead set on wanting me to settle dwn n hv kids? Can't Grimm n Loathe do it for her?

Fury: [sighed] Right, I'll just come out n say it then... Ur sister just passed away a couple of yrs ago, n ur brother is dying too

Peepers: :O

Hater: Wat...? :O

Fury: Loathe along with her fiance Archimedes passed away due to a civil war for the throne btwn his family n his illegitimate half-brother. His father had an affair with a commoner just before he married his mother n the half-brother was the result. The half-brother gained favour with the public n rallied them to overthrow him, spreading rumours n lies so tht the ppl will go against him. Ur sister...got caught in the crossfire of the war n... :(

Peepers: :( Oh gob...

Hater: N... N Grimm...?

Fury: [sighed again] Ard the same time just before the civil war started, ur brother... He got cursed with the Black Death. He went out on an excursion with Terrance on another planet n stumbled upon a cave. He made a mistake of venturing in n tried to mine the blue diamonds inside despite the locals' warnings n he was cursed with a type of illness that infected his body, turning it black starting from the feet up. Terrance was the first to die from it. Maybe bcoz of his species or genetics, bt it spread very quickly for him. His whole body just turned black as coal n crumbled to dust... :( Grimm tried to return the diamonds bt it was too late. Now he's bedridden n the infection is slowly moving up to half of his face. Any moment now it'll reach to the tip of his head n he will crumble like Terrance did... :(

Peepers: :( Oh...Sir, I'm so sorry...

Hater: [was shocked speechless for a long time before he slammed his hands on to the counter, glaring at Fury] Why didn't u tell me this earlier?! Why did u hide this frm me?! WHY?!

Fury: Bcoz we couldn't risk letting the council know tht our family is dying! They might be listening in n it'll be all over! I had to put an encryption on this channel so I wouldn't be overheard! Ever since u decided to give up the throne to go on ur conquering quest, Grimm has been picking up the slack, n he couldn't do the job! Not as good as u did! U were perfect for the throne, u were born for it, n I trained u well, bt u decided ur planet wasn't good enough, wasn't big enough for ur ambitions! U left, Hater! U left the throne in incapable hands! N u wonder why we don't talk to u anymore!

Peepers: :o ...

Hater: [couldn't retaliate coz he knew his dad was partly right abt tht]

Fury: The throne has been very fragile since Grimm started to run it. The council is very skeptical abt Grimm's ability to rule n hv been very antsy abt it. There's even rumours of a coup, a mutiny, tht they might select someone from the council to promote to be a royal n take over the throne, n I'll be damned if I let those power hungry monsters take over MY family throne tht our ancestors had fought so hard to maintain!

Peepers: ... With due respect, Lord Fury... your son here can make his own choices of whom he wants to love and be with, you shouldn't be having any control over such a thing. And you can't rush him either.

Fury: Quiet, Commander. With no due respect, this is a family matter n u hv no say on wat we should or shouldn't do. His poor mother hv been suffering long enough trying to deal with her daughter's death n her son's imminent demise

Hater: [banged his hand on the counter] U don't hv the right to speak to C.Peeps like tht. He's MY subordinate, MY partner, MY friend, I don't appreciate u treating my friends like garbage!

Peepers: Sir. :o

Fury: [was abt to fume, bt takes a deep breath n groaned instead] Ugh, I'm not going to waste my time arguing abt sentiments. Either way, our situation is dire. We were planning to speed up ur sister's wedding with Archimedes to form an alliance to strengthen our family ties n influence n hv Loathe take over the throne with Archimedes as King Regent, bt since she's gone, we hv no choice but to rely on u. The council doesn't know tht Grimm is dying, only Loathe, bt they r getting much bolder now n if they find out that both Grimm n Loathe r gone, they will seize the chance to take over the throne with their representative as the new royal. I need u to come home, assume ur rightful duties as ruler of Planet Skeletor n secure urself a wife worthy of our family before they do

Peepers: (looked at Hater) :( ... ?

Hater: ....N if I refuse?

Fury: Then our throne will be taken ovr by the council rep, n they will not hesitate to put us to death to eliminate all traces of our lineage, n they will do tht to u too should u evr return, since they knw ur the last one standing. U will hv no home to go bk to, Hater, n u will nvr see us again

Fury: Its either ur family or ur pride, Hater. Ur choice

Fury: Grimm doesn't hv long. The medics say at least 3 days tops, n since ur a day away frm us, tht's 4 days. 4 days for u to mull it ovr n hover ard our galaxy before u decide to either land ur ship on our Planet Skeletor n take the throne or abandon us. I will call u again in 4 days. Keep this line clear [hangs up n ends the vid call]

Hater: [hears an automated voice mail notification] Hey, Dad. We need to talk. I want to know why Mom is so eager for me to hurry up n get married, n I want the truth. If ur both lying to me, consider me single for life [hangs up]

Peepers: (shuffled on his feet) So um...are we still on shore break?

Hater: [glared at him for a moment, then huffed] Get someone to fix all this mess. We're heading to Planet Skeletor

Peepers: Y-yes, sir.

Hater: N before u get any bright ideas, no, that furball n that zbornak is still not welcomed here [storms off]

[The trio soon made their way to the nearest planet n chk in a modest hotel]

Brad: [shared a room with Wander, carried him in n tucked him in gently] U need anything? U want ur medication u got from the medic?

Wander: (nod)

Brad: [took the meds, poured him n a glass of warm water n fed him]

Wander: (allowed Brad to give him his medicine)

Brad: There u go. Feel better now? :)

Wander: (nod) ... (Tired)

Brad: It's OK, u rest, princess. I'll be right here if u need me [leans in to kiss his forehead, gently stroking him as he watched him sleep]
