[meanwhile across the universe]
Dipper: [look around excitedly] Oh Lookie Lookie Zest! Isn't that nubula pretty? [points to said nubula. Every since the party they have been wandering again. Going their usual misadventures]
Zest: [looked at it as he rode on Dipper's shoulder as they walked thru space in the Orrble Juice bubble] Dip, tht's the same nebula we saw a mile away ago. It's just bigger frm this angle
Dipper: [pouts] It is still pretty though. Where are we going again?
Zest: Hmm, actually nowhere exactly planned. We just got out of Skylor 6. Maybe this time we can wing it, or is there any planet u wanna go?
Dipper: Not really...just kind of bored right now...Oooo! What's that [got distracted again]
Zest: [shook his head weakly as he chuckled, then took out his pad n flipped thru the data. He had kept records of all the plcs tht his mother had ventured in n he made it his mission to visit them all, with new plcs along the way tht was not in his mother's records which he added into it himself. Then he reached a data piece tht showed a planet called Janet] Hey, Dip. Remember Mom n Aunt Sylvia used to tell us abt this crazy psycho planet who was in love with Mom bk then? Planet Janet?
Dipper: Really? [having a hard time picturing a planet loving Moma]
Zest: Well, I think we should pay this Planet Janet a visit. Shall we?
Dipper: Okay...[was kind of scare but curious as well]
[They landed on the planet 15 minutes later]
Zest: [got off Dipper's shoulder n walked abt, chking out the lovely flowery vegetation] Now Mom's data said tht there should be a lone pink rose somewhere... Help me look ard, Dip
Dipper: [holding his teddy tight] Ookay...[starts looking around]
[the duo wandered abt for a while before suddenly a squeak was made wen Dipper stepped on something]
Janet: Ouch! Watch it, big guy!
Dipper: [screams and hide behind a tree]
[there was a semi crushed pink flower]
Zest: Wat's up? Wat's wrong, Dip? [runs up to him, then sees the crushed flower] Reli, Dip? Ur afraid of a little flower?
Janet: [gasped] Is...Is tht u, Wander? U...U havent aged a bit!
Zest: Wait...wat? [looked ard trying to find the voice's owner]
Dipper: [still wimpering] I...I...th..think that's Janet
Zest: [looked bk at the flower again] U...Ur Janet?
Janet: Yes, its me, Wander. Dont u remember me?
Zest: Ahaha... Sorry, Janet, u must've mistaken me for my mother. My name is Zest, n tht cowering behind the tree there [pointed at Dipper] is my little brother Dipper
Janet: U...Ur not Wander....? Wait, ur eyes... Yes, tht's right. Ur eyes are a different colour. U reli are not Wander. U look so much like him tho...
Zest: I get tht all the time
Dipper: Are you...gonna hurt us? [still cowarding]
Zest: Forgive my brother. He's a bit timid. Not sure which side of the family he got it frm
Janet: Oh, don't worry, sweetie. I won't hurt u. It's just an accident. U boys must be tired frm ur journey. Here, why dont u rest up? [the earth shook a little n out of the ground popped out a mushroom-shaped home fit for the two of them] Come on in [opened the door for them]
Dipper: [slowly get out of his hiding spot and went inside the house. He face lights up and went exploring the house]
Janet: So ur Wander's kids? N did u say he's ur mother?
Zest: Well, u see... [gave Planet Janet the updates of Wander's life, how he met Hater, how they ended up together, how they reclaimed their planet, n how he died]
Janet: W-Wat? W-Wander... Wander is... dead...?
Zest: [looked dwn sadly] Yeah, he...
[before he knew it, the sky went dark, the mushroom house wilted, exposing them to the open, thunder boomed n heavy rain starting falling as Janet cried]
Dipper: [hugs Zest like a teddy bear and wimpered at the storm] Zest I don't like this!
Zest: Oi vey... [went under a huge tree for cover] I knw ur upset, Janet, bt...I'm sorry. Its true. N tht was 7 yrs ago. I'm sorry u had to find out now
Janet: [just kept crying n sobbing for a good hour]
[after a hour they were both soaking wet due to the storm]
Dipper: [sneezes. He is cold and wet and he wants to go. He cuddle with his teddy]
[the rain slowly stopped as Janet sniffled]
Janet: *sniff sniff* I'm sorry... I'm reli sorry... Its just... Wander is...was a vry dear friend of mine... He was my first love, u knw...
Zest: I see. Guess Aunt Sylvia's story was true. Umm... We're kinda drenched. Do u mind...?
Janet: Oh, I am SO sorry, here [materialized a big bonfire so tht the two of them could dry up] Here, lemme make it evn better [switched the sky n turned it into a nice starry night]
Dipper: Yay! [claps his hands and him and teddy sat by the fire to get dry]
Janet: Well, had Wander evr talked abt...well, me?
Zest: Lots, he said ur one of the fav planets he enjoyed most. Aunt Sylvia didnt think too much of u tho
Janet: Psh, yeah, Sylvia...
Zest: Weren't u dating The Moon, last time he saw u?
Janet: Oh, we're in an on-and-off relationship, u knw, we're not too exclusive, especially with The Sun in the way n all...
Zest: The Sun? Ur dating both The Sun and The Moon?
Janet: I knw, right? Ain't it the best? Bt...Wander always had a special plc in my core...
Dipper: [wasn't really paying attention to them. He was trying to get his teddy dry]
Zest: U reli did love my mother, didnt u?
Janet: He was the first n only friend I evr had since I came to being in a thousand yrs. He's the nicest guy I ever met, evn tho we were only friends for a day. He did come bk once in a while, bt aftr tht it had been...well...more than 25 yrs since his last visit
Zest: I see. I'm sorry to hear tht
Janet: So this guy, ur dad, Hater. Wat's he like? How does he look like?
Zest: Dip, why dont u show Janet our family photo?
Dipper: [pulls out the oh so famous Wander's hat and then pulls out one of the family photos from it. It was taken a few months before that fateful day. Everyong was in it] Here it is Janet. [pointed to Hater] That is Daddy!
Janet: [her flower grew a little larger n taller to see the picture] Ooh, a Skeletor. He sure knws how to pick 'em. Oh my, wat an amazing family. Wow, did he give birth to all of u? [amazed at the litter]
Zest: Yup. "Perks" of a Star Nomad, u get litters. Thank goodness I'm born pure male, bt Dip isn't, so I hv to be careful he doesnt get raped or anything
Janet: N wat r ur other sibs' names? [pointed at them with a leaf finger]
Dipper: [points to them as he said their names] That is Wonder, she is the oldest and sweetest. She always helps us when we are in a pickle. That is Loathing. He is the Emperor now. He is a Diva. That is Linger. He is a rock star! That's Dazzle. She makes pretty clothes for the universe. But, she can be scary sometime...And those are the twins Hope and Miracle.
Janet: They all look wonderful. Wat does Wonder n Hope n Miracle do?
Zest: Wonder is like sort of a wanderer, bt more of a bounty hunter. Hope n Miracle r still in limbo. They were supposed to be groomed to decide their career during the excursion, like a rite of passage for them to decide whether they want to be a conqueror or a wanderer or something else entirely, bt since the accident...well, they become inseparable bcoz Miracle had been traumatized into a nervous wreck n can't speak properly n Hope had to look aftr him, so they're pretty much not doing anything bt try to get by day by day.
Janet: Aww, u poor things. It must've been reli hard on u too [materialized a pair of thick vines n hugged them]
Dipper: Yeah...I'm hungry! Is there anything to eat? [randomly changes the subject]
Janet: Oh, where are my manners? Here [produced a whole bunch of vines frm the ground n popped out a whole bunch of melons of all kinds, then produced a big bush n blossomed out a whole bush full of gobbleberries] Here, take ur pick!
Zest: Wow, Mom was right, u ARE amazing [picked the berries n cooked them in a pot dug out frm the hat n made gobbleberry stew] Help me pluck some melons, Dip
Dipper: Kay~ [pluck most of the melons and gave them to Zest] Here ya go!
Zest: [brandished a butcher knife n cut the melons into half, giving half to Dipper each. Despite his small size, he had the strength of 10 space oxes]
Janet: Wow, I didnt knw he would be tht strong
Dipper: Yeah he is just as strong as Great Grandpa!
Janet: Impressive
Zest: [finished cutting the melon n tasted the stew] Mmm, just nice. Bring out the bowls n spoons, Dip
Dipper: Okay! [uses the hat again and pull out the bowls and spoons and hand them to Zest]
Zest: Thanks, Dip [takes the bowl n fills them with the stew, handing one bowl to Dipper] Dig in [ate the stew n munched on the melon] Mmm~~ Delicious!
Dipper: [started eating. Before long he had 5 bowls of stew and 3 melons before he was full. Burps] Ah~ that was good!
Zest: [more or less had the same amount, bt had 5 melons, since his strength n metabolism is higher] BURP~~ Oh excuse me [chuckled sheepishly]
Janet: Looks like u enjoyed ur dinner rather well [lowered the fire till it was a nice slow warm heat, almost like a campfire feel to it]
Dipper: [yawns. grabs his teddy and jump inside the hat. A few moments later they came out in their pjs] Time for beddy bye
Zest: Yeah, thanks for the meal, Janet. Ur nice, a little weird, bt nice [just dug out a big blanket n futon frm the hat n lay in it] Good night, Janet
Janet: Goodnight, Zest, goodnight, Dipper [lowered the flame again so tht it wouldnt be too bright for them to sleep in]
