[A few more weeks passed n they were almost close to their destination. During tht period, Wander still avoided Hater, n often sneaked into the ship bar to drink his problems away. Tonight, on the last day of the journey, he was no different]

Wander: [was hiding behind n underneath the bar counter, chugging another bottle of whatever booze he laid his hand on]

(A hand rested on his shoulder)

???: Back in here again, son?

Wander: [jumped at the touch, then looked up to see Angel glaring dwn at him] Heeyyy Papa, come to joinnn meee~~? :D

Angel: (facepalm) Son, you should know better then drinking your worries away, it doesn't work like that. Now it's high time you and your Skeletor friend should--

Wander: No!! U don't understand wat it feels like to be lied to like that!! I don't wanna talk to him ever again!! [shoved Angel weakly as he took another swig]

Angel: ...But I do understand how it feels to lose someone close to you...And you think Hater wanted to lie to you like this?

Wander: If he didn't want to lie to me, he should've told me earlier! He's got plenty of chances! A gajillion chances!! N he blew it! I'm not gonna talk to him ever again n that's final!! [realized he finished his bottle n threw it away with a crash, trying to get up to find some more]

Angel: (grabbed him) :| No. You and he will talk things out, whether you want to or not.

Hater: (had poked his head in) ?

Wander: No! Let go of me!! I don't wanna talk!! U got no right!! [struggled against Angel]

Angel: I do have a right, I am your father. And if it was your mother asking you to do this, would you disobey her?

Hater: :(

Wander: Don't u drag Mama into this!! This has nothing to do with her!! It's abt me n... [finally sees Hater, then scowled n looked away]

Hater: (came closer) Wander, please, I didn't...

Wander: [tries to go away bt Angel held his arm tight] ...Let go of me, Papa

Angel: Just talk with him, son.

Hater: :(

Wander: ....No [still not looking at Hater]

Angel: Son-

Hater: Forget it. The Friendliest face in the galaxy wants to person to go into their grave with more guilt then they've already had... (started to turn away) Honestly, it's like he thinks I wanted this to happen. I didn't know it would and I didn't know how else to tell you because I worried about what reactions you would give.

Wander: [glared at Hater, then pulled away from Angel n grabbed a random bottle n threw it at Hater's head, thankfully it was plastic] Don't u dare!! Don't u dare try to pin this on me!! Don't u dare blame me for ur guilt wen u didn't take the chance to tell me earlier in the first place!! Everyone knew!! Sylvia knew, Peeps knew, hell, prolly even Awesome n Westley knew, n I'm the only one who doesn't!! Don't u realize how terrible n stupid that makes me feel?! I'm supposed to be ur best buddy!!!

Hater: (doh) And you think it's that easy to tell someone something THIS serious?? You think it's THAT easy?! Like, you yourself can barel even keep a secret for more then 5 minutes!!

Angel: (stood aside, letting them argue it out)

Wander: This has nothing to do with me keeping secrets! N even if u wanted me to keep this a secret, u think I would blab to anyone something this serious as well?? U had so many chances! So. Many. Chances wen we were doing Grimm's courting ceremony! So many times where we can be alone n u talk it out with me n u blew it!! I thought u trusted me! Wen u said u wanna be friends with me, tht u want me to join u, I thought u trusted me, believed in me!! "Magic cold" my foot!

Hater: ;( ... I'M SORRY, REALLY!! I didn't expect this to happen, I don't even want to leave these galaxies like this...I don't want to end up leaving behind someone, whom I've always refused to be my friend... I want to make it up as much as I can while I'm still here...

Wander: If u had told me earlier, I would've taken it better! Sure, I'd be sad, maybe be in denial for a while, trying to find u a cure even tho u said there isn't, bt in time, I would've accepted it! But u didn't! U didn't tell me! U made me feel stupid for not knowing the signs, for not seeing it sooner! U made me feel bad tht I'm the last person to know wen everyone else already knew! To think... To think I could finally get closer to u, to let us be more than friends, to express u my true feelings I felt for u the first day I met u, n wen u said u wanted us to be more than friends, I was so happy... I... I thought... We... ;( [started sobbing]

Hater: We...we still can...I don't want to spend any last days I have...fighting like this... ;(

Wander: [sees him try to come close] No!! Don't come near me!! U lied to me! U hid something so serious from me!! I love u!! I was in love with u from the very first day we met! N I thought we could've something together wen u asked me if we could be more than friends!! N now ur gonna die!! Ur gonna leave me alone just like Mama n my siblings did!! ;( It would be better if I just stayed angry with u, tht I hate u!! [sobbed hard as he covered his face] ;(

Hater: :( (comes over anyhow and embraced the nomad)

Angel: (held his breath)

Hater: ...I love you too... And I'm so sorry... ;(

Wander: No! No, no, no! Let go of me!! Don't touch me!! I finally get to fulfill my dreams of hving u love me bk, n then u just spring this on me?! No! I hate u! Just go somewhere n rot n die for all I care! I hate u! I hate u, I hate u, I hate u!! ;( [hit at Hater's chest, tears falling dwn his cheeks like rain as he sobbed n wailed in his arms]

Hater: (cuddled him closely) ... Do you really, though? Do you even hate me? :(

Wander: [doesn't reply, bt has stopped hitting him n just wailed out loud in his arms, gripping his robes tight, shaking his head hard] ;(

Hater: :( (rocked him gently) ... You are my sunshine... My only sunshine... You make me happy, when skies are grey...

Angel: :)

Wander: [hears his quiet singing in his ear n his gentle rocking n soon calmed dwn from his sobbing, still sniffling a little n holding onto him tight as he slowly passed out from the booze n the emotional wreck he was in]

Hater: :) (picked him up in his arms, carrying him to his room)

Angel: (nod)

Wander: |-) [asleep in his arms, all tuckered out]

Hater: (entered Wander's room and gently tucked him in) :$ (gave a light kiss on his forehead)

Wander: [curled in the covers] Hatey... [mumbled in his sleep] |-)

Hater: :) (sighed softly and sat by his side, watching him sleep)

[a couple hours later, both the Fistfighters n Awesome n Sylvia arrived at Hater's mothership almost at the same time]

Westley: [sees them n quickly ran to look for Hater, panicking, thinking they were under attack] Sir! SIR~~!!!

Hater: Huh, what is it?

Westley: Its... Its... Its... Its Emperor Awesome! He's brought his troops here! We're under attack! DX

Hater: Oh, Awesome's back? Relax, Westley, he's gonna be joining us for a while.

Westley: [was going asdfghjkl for a while before he heard the last part] :| Wait... He is?

Hater: (nod) Yeah and he agreed to help my family with their war as well.

Westley: Oh, OK. I guess I should let him in then--

Awesome: [announced outside thru his loud speaker] Yo, Boney, we're home~~

Westley: (doh) He's loud...

Hater: ^^;; Yup.

Sylvia: (hugged Awesome) :$

[Hater's mothership soon opened to let them hv access inside]

Awesome: [flew in his ship, followed by the Fistfighter troops]

Sylvia: :) Hey, guys. We're back. (looked around) Where's Wander?

Westley: In his room, not exactly sure wat's going on. Hey, Emperor Awesome -__-

Awesome: Yo. Where's Bonehead at? Gotta brief him abt the troops

Westley: He's at the navigation room, sir

Awesome: Right. C'mon, Knucklehead. I'll see u soon [kissed Sylvia's cheek n followed Westley's lead]

Sylvia: :) (went to see Wander)

Wander: [was still under the covers, bt it seems he had already cried himself to sleep]

Sylvia: (checked in on him) :) Wander? (sniffed) >< Ugh, that smell...

Wander: [stirred, bt doesn't wake up, just adjusted his position n slept] |-)

Sylvia: (came over and gently ruffled his hair)

Wander: [sniffled in his sleep] Hatey...

[meanwhile, Awesome was in the navigation room with Hater]

Awesome: Emperor Awesome reporting for duty [mock saluted him, then laughed] :D

Hater: |-( Yeah, yeah. Let's get to business, shall we?

Awesome: Right. So we're gonna be joining ur bro's armada once we reach ur home planet, right?

Hater: (nod) That's right. Hey, how'd your date go anyhow? (smirk) A complete disaster?

Brad's voice: Um...Peeps?

Peepers: [let out a girlish yelp wen he heard Brad's voice] G-Go away! Leave me alone, u pervert!

Brad: (poked his head in) C'mon, it was an accident-

Peepers: Aaagghhh!! No, get out! Don't come in~ [blushed hard as he tried to close the door on Brad]

Brad: (was stronger and kept the door from closing all the way) Can we at least talk?

Brad: I was just trying to get Wander out of the bar and I tripped! That's all that happeend!

Peepers: [was running out of things to throw n was abt to throw a chair at him wen Brad yelled, panting hard as he still held the chair above his head]

Peepers: [groaned out loud as he flung his hands in the air, dropping the chair at the same time before plopping his ass hard onto the bed, grumbling as he crossed his arms n legs]

[the painting was of himself n Demurra wen they were younger in a flower meadow, wreathing flower crowns for each other, now in shreds on the floor]

Brad: ... (Sighed and lay down on his bed) :(

[the couple soon finished their meal (teasing each other in btwn) before chking out n flew out of the planet. Meanwhile...]

Peepers: [went to double chk the room Wander n Sylvia shared to see if Sylvia had returned, bt noticed Wander was not even in his room either] Huh... Where did that furball go...?

Hater: (came up) ... :( Guess he's really avoiding me.

Peepers: (facepalm) Ugh, this is getting ridiculous. He can't avoid u forever

Hater: Yeah...

Brad: (came up) That furball still avoiding you, Hater?

Peepers: |-( Not the time, mama's boy, unless u can help find him

Brad: (nod) Yeah, he couldn't have wandered too far.

[Peepers n Brad soon went their separate ways to find Wander, n while Peepers enlisted some help from Westley on his end, Brad's search led him to the ship's bar]

Wander: [was slumped facedwn on the cushion booth, surrounded by a couple of bottles of hard liquor n a few shot glasses]

Brad: ^^;; Oh boy. (came over and sat next to him) ... Furball?

Wander: [mumbled] Nnyo more ice cubeszzz... =~=

Brad: (shook his a little) Hey, snap out of it.

Wander: Nuh, huh, wha--? [groggily looks up to see Brad] Oh, ish u, Bradley. C'mere tuh join me fer a drinksss~? [was slurring his words, his breath reeking of booze]

Peepers: [twitched the moment he mentioned Brad n let out another scream before he dashed off]

Brad: (was trying to keep Wander in his bed) ^^;;

Wander: [blows raspberries at Brad, then sees Hater, blew another raspberry before hiding under the covers]

Brad: (backed away)

Hater: (sat on the bed) Wander?

Wander: [voice muffled underneath the blanket] Go awayshhh, no likey u~

Hater: (sighed) Wander, I know I should've told you when given the chance but it wasn't as easy as it sounded.

Wander: [doesn't reply, bt sounded like he was scoffing]

Hater: ...If it's because of what happened with your mom, I didn't-

Wander: [suddenly grabbed his pillow n threw it hard at Hater's face, shutting him up]

Hater: (doh)

Wander: [glared at him for a while before going bk under the covers, not wanting to deal with him anymore]

Hater: ...(sighs) I'll...let you recover for a bit. Then maybe we'll talk. (got up and left)

Brad: :( (followed Hater)

Wander: [doesn't reply, bt once Hater was out n the door was shut, he started sobbing underneath the covers]

Hater: (closed the door to his room) ... (slunk against the wall) ;( (buried his face in his knees)

[the couple soon made love all night long till the break of dawn, trying every position under the sun. By the time they were done, they were so knocked out tht they slept thru till late noon]

Sylvia: |-) Zzz... (had an arm wrapped around Awesome's chest)

Awesome: [stirred a little frm the sun peeking thru the curtains, then slowly got up n stretched himself] (yawn) [sees Sylvia still asleep n smiled, leaning dwn to kiss her forehead before reaching for his communicator to call Knucklehead, his second in command]

Knucklehead: (answered) Yes, Emperor Awesome, sir?

Awesome: Do a head count of all the Fistfighters, n get them prepped. We're putting partying on hold to help out our old frenemy Lord Hater fight a war

Knucklehead: Will do, sir.

Awesome: I'll send u the coordinates to Lord Hater's ship, I'll meet u there. Make sure all Fistfighters r present n accounted for. We need all the manpower we can get

Knucklehead: (nod) Yes, Emperor Awesome, sir.

Awesome: Good, cya there [hung up, sent Knucklehead the coordinates n nuzzled Sylvia] Wake up, sleepyhead

Sylvia: Mmm...mm...save some waffles for me... (tired) ... (yawn)

Awesome: [chuckled] I can order room service if u reli want those waffles (giggle)

Sylvia: (flushed) Oh, morning, you.

Awesome: Heh, actually it's... [looked at the time] 2 in the afternoon. We've slept thru the day

Awesome: I think we pretty much did all night long. The booze we had at the club prolly had helped along a little :$

Awesome: Anyways I just gave my SiC a call. He's doing a head count of our troops as we speak n will meet up with us at Bonehead's ship wen he's ready

Awesome: So, want tht room service?

Awesome: [chuckled n nuzzled her again before handing her the menu while he dialed for room service]

Awesome: [looked thru the menu with her n made his order, which is a pretty heavy meal since he's famished frm their "vigorous exercise"]

Sylvia: (makes her order as well)

Awesome: While we wait for room service to arrive, shall we maybe get cleaned up?

Sylvia: You want to shower first?

Awesome: I'm good, u go ahead while I keep an eye out on room service

Sylvia: (nod) Okay. (gave him a peck on the nose and headed into the bathroom)

Awesome: [scrolled thru his tablet to read the news headlines while waiting]

[15 mins later, there was a knock on the door]

??: Room service!

Awesome: [answered the door to let the person in]

Server: :) Your meals, good sir.

Awesome: Thank u, my good man [tipped him generously]

Server: (nod) (leaves)

(minutes later)

Sylvia: (emerged from the bathroom)

Awesome: Hey, Bee. Just in time, room service is here [took off the lids to reveal an amazing spread]

Sylvia: :) Looks tasty.

Awesome: Well, let's see if it tastes as good as it looks. U go ahead, my turn to clean up

Sylvia: (nod) (sits down to eat her meal)

Awesome: [went to the bathroom to get washed up]

Sylvia: (watched him go in) ... :$ Charmer.

[15 mins later, Awesome came out in all his naked glory, with only a towel ard his lower body, his wet body glistening in the light]

Sylvia: (flushed again at the sight) ...All clean?

Awesome: Yup, all nice n squeaky clean. I hope my food is still nice n warm

Sylvia: (nod) it should still be good.

Awesome: [sat nxt to her n tasted his order] Yup, still good. Wanna try some of mine? [held up his spoonful of food to her]

Sylvia: :$ Heh. (takes the spoonful) ... :) Mm, not bad.

Awesome: Can I try some of urs? ;p

Sylvia: (giggle) (gives him a spoonful as well)

Awesome: [ate frm it, savouring the taste] Mmm~ Nice, bt there's something missing

Awesome: [grinned cheekily then leans in to kiss Sylvia on the lips deeply, then pulls away, licking his lips] Mmm~ Now its perfect :p

Awesome: Wat? Nothing wrong with enjoying a nice meal with my soulmate [grinned]

Awesome: Right, tht. Well as much as I would like to enjoy our time even longer, I think it's best we eat up n go bk to Bonehead. Doubt he could wait for us forever with a war going on in his home planet

Sylvia: (nod) And hopefully, Wander's doing okay, too... :(

Awesome: Why? Wats up with him? [ate his food]

Sylvia: Hater...ended up telling him about his cancer, and now it's like he's trying to avoid Hater altogether...

Awesome: Oh my... Seems like a reaction of someone who has a thing for him...

Sylvia: Well, Wander did lose most of his family to a desease...so this must feel like that for him all over again...

Awesome: Yikes, talk abt a bummer's luck. How did that happen to his family?

Sylvia: (explains the whole story) :(

Awesome: Oi vey... That reli is some shitty luck. So how long does Bonehead hv?

Sylvia: He's at second stage right now, but we dunno how long it'll be till he reaches third...and then fourth will be his last...

Awesome: :( Now I feel kinda bad for all the petty fights we had trying to out match each other with conquering...

Sylvia: Yeah, and he wants to be a better person before leaving us...

Awesome: Hmm, guess I couldn't blame him for wanting the ship so badly. Tbh wen he spit out that black goo wen we were fighting over the ship, I was still skeptical. I thought it was just some gimmick he was doing...

Sylvia: Mhm... But now you understand his case?

Awesome: Yeah, I get it now. Maybe wen this war is ovr, I should take him on a party cruise or something, let him enjoy what's left of his time

Sylvia: :) That'd be nice.

Awesome: C'mon, Bee, let's eat up. We've got a war to win ;)
