Broken Pieces-Epilogue

[10 yrs had passed since then. The kids grew up n were in their preteens by then. During the first 5 yrs, Awesome n Sylvia continued to work with Hater until Awesome received a summon letter frm Planet Marina stating tht he was apparently nxt in line to rule due to his father's royal blood ties with the royal family n tht the royal family had died due to a civil war within the planet, so he, Sylvia n the kids settled dwn at Planet Marina as the new rulers. Brad n Peepers took ovr Awesome n Sylvia's job n worked with Hater for the nxt 5 yrs until Brad's latest pregnancy damaged his health n made him unable to work anymore, so Peepers requested Hater tht he wanted to quit to take care of Brad n they settled dwn in Planet Janet together as Wander's parents' neighbours]

Hater: [was sitting in the empty meeting room, looking thru his papers in deep thought]

Wander: (enters with a tray of food) Hatey?

Hater: Hey Wander [sees the food] Thanks. U reli shouldn't hv tho

Wander: I know. (hands Hater his plate and coffee mug while he sat down with his tea) Thinking about all that's happened?

Hater: Yeah, Awesome is literally an Emperor now, n I didn't expect Peeps to love Brad so much to quit his job. It must've been a reli rough pregnancy for Brad. Carrying triplets is no joke, especially wen he's pure male. I still haven't decided a new second-in-command yet, n this room feels so empty now without them

Wander: But we can still make contact with them.

Hater: Yeah that's true [another deep thought] I just realized it's been a little after 10 yrs since we first met, huh?

Wander: Yes, it has.

Hater: I hv a surprise for u, bt it'll hv to wait till our anniversary nxt mth

Wander: :) I see. (sips his tea in thought)

Hater: [stroke Wander's cheek as he sipped his coffee, his brain soon got to work planning his surprise]

Wander: ...Think it'll be time soon for the kids to know the truth...

Hater: [blinked] Wat truth?

Wander: About all that's happened...how we met, my life with Ryder... Unless you want them finding out the hard way...

Hater: I was hoping to keep them oblivious. I mean it's ur past, not theirs. U don't hv to air out all ur dirty secrets if u don't want to. They're not gonna find out anyways. Those involved r already dead, n the gang won't tell them without our permission

Wander: (sighs) Still...

Hater: It's alright, if u feel the time is right, u can tell them. I got ur bk

Wander:...(rests his hand on Hater's) I know.

[the nxt mth soon came, n as dawn approaches, Hater came to wake Wander up]

Hater: Hey, my star. Wakey wakey

Wander: (yawn)... (sees Hater) Hey. :)

Hater: [kissed him] Happy anniversary, my star

Wander: ^^ (kisses him back) So...what's the surprise? :)

Hater: Ah, for tht I need to blindfold u for a while. Wouldn't want u to peek~

Wander: Aw, no fair. :P ^^

Hater: Do u trust me? [holds up the blindfold]

Wander: I do. (nod)

Hater: Alright. It'll be over real soon [gently blindfolds Wander n took his hand to lead him]

Wander: (lets Hater lead him)

[a few minutes later, they stopped at a certain area]

Hater: Alright, we're here. U ready?

Wander: Ready, Hatey.

Hater: [gently removes the blindfold] Tadaa~~

[its revealed tht they're standing on a verandah tht overlook wat seemed like an entire city, n it turns out the verandah they were on is actually part of a pretty big castle-like mansion]

Wander: :O Whoa...

Hater: Surprise. Remember I promised u we would settle dwn after I finish conquering the 5th Galaxy? Well technically I'm only abt 95% done, bt seeing the gang has already did their own settling dwn, I thought it would be time for us to do the same. Happy anniversary, my star

Wander:...Our new home?

Hater: (nod) This planet is called Planet Tsorka. It is technically a barren planet tht refugees frm other planets flee to, n there is no ruler n no rules in plc, bt I'm sure after a bit of work, we can establish a ruling system here n settle dwn as ruler of this planet, n yes, it's our new home

Wander: ... (hugs Hater) ^^~~ (heart)

Hater: It's not always a husband can give u a whole world. I love u, Wander. Forever n a day

Wander: As do I. :)

Hater: [kissed Wander deeply]

Wander: (kisses him back) :) (is suddenly picked up by Hater and spun around) Hatey~ (giggle)

Hater: [chuckles] My star. My little shining star. I dunno wat I'd do without u

Wander: And I don't know what I'd do without you. ^^

[the couple shared one last kiss together on the verandah as the sun slowly rose in the horizon before them]
