[soon the day came for date night]
Wander: [was putting on a casual smart outfit, tho he grinned awkwardly at his reflection of his leg cast tht contradicted his clothes]
Sylvia: (peeks in) Almost ready, buddy?
Wander: Yeah, almost [looked at the hat, then realized it didnt match his outfit n shook his head] U stay here tonight, Hatty [patted it]
Sylvia: You think you'll be okay? Not just cause of the leg, but also...your scent.
Wander: I think I'll be fine. It doesnt reli happen until the day aftr tomorrow, so I should be fine [grabs his crutches] Besides, I hv Hater to protect me
Sylvia: True. (nod)
Wander: How do I look? [showed himself to Sylvia]
Sylvia: :) Good as always. Might wanna get going, Hater's all ready and waiting.
Wander: Yeah, wouldnt want to keep him waiting [put on his crutches n followed Sylvia out of his room]
(meanwhile)
Hater: (dressed in black tuxedo and pacing, nervously)
Wander: [shows up, walking a little slowly with his crutches] Hey, Hatey
Hater: H-hey...(blushing) You ready to go?
Wander: Yeah, as ready as I'll evr be [looked at him] U look good. Peepers dressed u? [meant tht as a tease]
Hater: >> A little. (looks out the window) We're almost landing.
(They were approaching a planet covered with various oceans and were landing neat a large dock)
Hater: Hopefully this is the right place.
Wander: [looked out the window to chk out the view] Wow, this plc looks amazing. Wat is this planet?
Hater: Planet Aquarium 66. Mostly ocean themed and stuff.
Wander: Oooh~~ I wonder if there r mermaid species in this planet
Hater: Probably. :)
Wander: [got off the ship together withHater] So where r we heading?
Hater: I'm just hoping I landed in the right place. (sees an elevator emerge from the water at the edge of the dock they walked on)
Octo: (exits out of elevator) You are Mister Hater?
Hater: (thinks; okay, phew.) Yes, I made reservations with my date.
Octo: Right this way, please. (leads them both into elavator)
Wander: [moved a little slowly coz of his crutches, bt he managed to get there with Hater]
Hater: (puts arm around Wander, as the elevator starts going down and they see numerous water creatures going about their business)
Wander: [looked out n gazed in wonder, reli amazed by the view]
(Elavator soon lands)
Hater: (looks) This is it.
Octo: (leads them out of elavator into a tunnel that led to a fancy looking resturaunt)
Wander: :O [was almost speechless] Wow~ Aww, Hatey, u shouldn't hv
Hater: Heh, it wasn't easy but I managed somehow. :)
Wander: [leaned close to Hater] Lead the way, then
Hater: :) (lets the octo lead them inside and to their table the skeletor requested, by a window where they could get the best view) Here. (helps Wander to sit)
Wander: (giggle) Why thank u [sits dwn]
Hater: (also takes his own seat)
Wander: [got distracted by the view outside as he looked out in wonderment]
Hater: :) I had a feeling you'd like the view.
Wander: [blushed as he realized he was distracted] Oh, sorry, Hatey. Everything looks so pretty out there, heh heh
Hater: :) (looking through his menu)
Wander: [looked thru his as well, then his eyes widened at the price] Psst, Hatey~ R u sure we should eat here? [whispers] It's kinda pricey...
Hater: Well...I thought I heard something about this place treating certain couples differently or something... (blushing, a little embarrased)
Wander: No, silly, I mean [shows him the price of the food discreetly] U sure u can afford it? I don't want u to break ur bank
Hater: Well...maybe there's some less expensive stuff on here...
Waitress: (comes by; has pale green skin, purple eyes and long blue hair) Hello, I'll be taking your orders tonight, and... (looks at the skeletor)... :o Hater?
Hater: (blinks) ...Wait... :o Gabe, that you?
Wander: [blinked at the two of them, not sure wat to respond]
Hater: (stands up) :) Hey, Gabe. It's been a long while. Looks like you finally got your operation, did you?
Gabe: (nod) Mhm. And actually, the name's Gabrielle now, thought it sounded more suiting. (Sees Wander) Oh, hey there. Your boyfriend, Hater?
Wander: [waved timidly at him] ...Hi [small blush across his face]
Hater: Oh, right. Wander, this is an old companion of mine. Gab, meet Wander.
Gabe: (now Gabrielle) Hey. Well, used to be a boy but now became the girl I've always wanted.
Hater: Must've been hard for you finding a job because of being transgender?
Gabrielle: Pretty much.
Wander: Good for ya. U look beautiful :)
Gabrielle: Heh, thanks. ^^
Boss: (big blue whale-like creature) Gabrielle, keep up the good work, baby.
Gabrielle: ;) Sure thing, honey.
Hater: :O ...you're in relationship with your boss??
Gabrielle: ^^;; It's a long story.
Wander: (giggle) I guess interoffice relationship is OK here for u guys
Gabrielle: You might say that. He's the reason I got this job in the first place.
Hater: So, there's a way we can pay for the food without worrying about how expensive it is? ^^;;
Wander: We don't wanna impose or anything... [felt a little bad for asking; he was worried Gabrielle might be offended for taking advantage of her]
Gabrielle: Well... I could ask if my boss can do something about it. ;) He barely ever says no to me.
Hater: -3- Why am I not surprised to hear that?
Wander: Well, just dont ovrdo it. We dont want u to get fired or making u two complicated or anything...
Gabrielle: No worries, I'll take care of it. (gets out notepad) So, will you be having anything?
Hater: (looking at menu) I'll just have one of your specials.
Gabrielle: (nod) (turns to Wander) And for you?
Wander: [looked at menu] Hmm... Maybe this one? [pointed at a mixed grill dish] N make it a double portion if its OK?
Gabrielle: (writes down their orders)
(while later, both the skeletor and nomad are enjoying their meal)
Wander: [blushed as he ate] Sorry if I disgust u with my appetite. Its just instinct to stock up for me, coz once I'm in...u knw, "that" cycle, food is the last thing in my mind
Hater: Heh, no worries. I get to be a messy east myself. (takes a bite) Nice to see Gabe again...
Wander: U said he-- I mean, she was ur old companion. Were u two like "close" close?
Hater: Yeah, in a way cause we understood each other about our families not being approving of our choices in life, you know, the whole gay thing.
Wander: I see... So... did u two like dated or something?
Hater: ^^;; No, more like... this wasn't the first time I came to this planet. I kind of came here before to try a conquer, which wasn't working so well. But then just came across Gabe in trouble, no doubt people who didn't approve of him trying to be transgender, so I had to swoop in and fight off those other guys. Gabe had worried I was gonna be like them but after a small talk about what happened with my family disowning me, we found a lot we had in common. But it didn't last too night cause I had to move on to the next planet so we've tried to keep in touch as much as we could. Then after a while, barely ever heard from Gabe until just now.
Wander: Well, judging by the way she's being so happy now, I guess this planet, or at least those who knw her, is sorta OK with her being who she is
Hater: Yeah, seems like it. I'm happy for her, now that things seem to be going easier on her.
Wander: [smiled] I'm glad. So anything planned aftr dinner? [took a sip of soup]
Hater: :) Perhaps a walk along one of their beaches? Enjoy more of the view?
Wander: I'd like tht. Bt only if u dont mind me going slow or u let me sit on ur shoulder if u want me to keep up with u
Hater: I won't mind. :) (gently does a footies with Wander's good leg)
Wander: [blushed as he does it bk to him while popping a meatball into his mouth]
Hater: (chuckles) :)
Wander: [suddenly felt as if all eyes were on him, bt shrugged it off as being paranoid as he continued to enjoy his meal with Hater]
[the couple finished their dinner in a couple of hours, n got a nice discount thanks to Gab's help. Soon they were at one of the nearby beaches, taking their walk, with Wander riding on Hater's shoulder]
Wander: [burped a little] Ooh, excuse me. Tht was a great meal, Hatey
Hater: :) Glad it went well. (sees the nomad look around a little) You okay?
Wander: Huh? Y-Yeah, its nothing... [tries to look out at the ocean distance n enjoy the beautiful starry view]
Hater: Is...something bothering you?
Wander: I dunno, maybe its just me bt... I feel like I'm being watched...
Hater: (cradles him in one arm) It's because of you giving off that scent, perhaps?
Wander: Maybe... Or maybe... [his breath hitched as he suddenly felt himself going warm frm the inside out, he doubled ovr n almost fell off Hater's shoulder as he hugged himself, shaking]
Hater: :O W-Wander? (holds onto him) Hey, you okay?? Wander??
Wander: Nnnhh... [knew the familiar feeling] Oh grob... I think I miscalculated... [his eyes scanned the area n gasped wen he saw a crowd of ppl slowly moving towards them, their eyes clouded with lust, he then turned to Hater, fearing the worst] H-Hatey...?
Hater: :O Oh grop... (sends off electric shocks) Hey, hey! Back off! Off, all of you! (holding Wander close)
[the crowd was not phased, their mind concentrated on going towards Wander]
Wander: [relieved tht Hater didnt turn into the crowd, bt terrified tht the crowd would get to them in no time] H-Hatey, w-we better g-get outta h-here...!!
Hater: (looks around) Just hang on tight! (quickly teleports them out of there and into a spot where there weren't much people around)
Wander: [held onto Hater tight wen they teleported off, then once they were there, he started shaking more n tried to get off Hater] P-Pls... L-Lets go bk to the sh-ship... I... I dont want u to d-d-do s-something u might r-regret...
Hater: Right, gotcha. (still carrying Wander and quickly making their way back to where the ship was)
