[as the days went by, preparations were at a all-time high, n neither Wander nor Hater had the time to hv their heart-to-heart talk. Finally, the night before the wedding, wen evrything had calmed dwn a little...]
Wander: [just managed to tuck the litters in, n made his way to the ship cafeteria, feeling a bit peckish aftr a long two hours of nursing]
Hater: (was in cafeteria, chewing a sandwich)
Wander: [was surprised to see him here] Oh, Hatey! Wat a pleasant surprise. Didnt expect u here
Hater: (looks up) Oh hey. Just grabbing a quick snack.
Wander: Heh, me too. The litter practically sucked me dry. I'm famished, and parched
Hater: (moves over to allow Wander to sit next to him)
Wander: [nodded in acknowledgement before going to get his pile of food n drinks, then sat nxt to Hater n wolfed the food dwn]
Hater: (chews more of his sandwich, silently in thought)
Wander: [almost choked on a bagel n quickly drank dwn some water]
Hater: (looked up) Okay there?
Wander: (cough cough) Yeah, kinda swallowed too fast there... (cough cough)
Hater: (pats his back)
Wander: [cleared his throat aftr feeling better] So... how was ur day?
Hater: Mostly been talking with Peepers. You?
Wander: Same, bt with Syl n Marsha, mostly abt the food... [scratched his chin, looking like he wanted to say something]
Hater: (looks away a little)... You first or me first?
Wander: ....How bout we say it together?
Hater: (nod)
Wander: [takes a deep breath, n says it the same time as Hater] Am I a mistake?
Hater: Am I a mistake? (same time as Wander) ... o.o?
Wander: [blinked at the same thing they both said] ....O_O Wait, wat?
Hater: O_O; Yeah, what?
Wander: [blinked again, then takes a deep breath] I just... I love u, Hatey, I reli do. Bt do u feel the same way I do? Or r u just marrying me bcoz u hv to?
Hater: I just... I've had some relationships but they never lasted long, and with you... I don't want to feel like I'm using you or anything... :( cause I do love you.
Wander: U... U were the first n only man I've evr been with... I knw u were in ovr ur head wen u... did things to me, bt I can't shake the feeling tht I tie u dwn bcoz of my weird customs n rituals. Ur not a Nomad, I shouldnt subject u to this... I dont want to make u think I'm a burden to u... ;(
Hater: But you're not! You kinda were back then but not now, you're not a burden to me now! ;(
Wander: [sobs] I made u marry me bcoz of my stupid custom... Wat if there is someone out there tht is the one for u? It'll be my fault... I... I... [was crying so hard he was hyperventilating, having a panic attack]
Hater: Wander! (holds him to try and calm him down)
Wander: [whimpered as he tried to calm himself, holding onto Hater tight, taking in his scent]
Hater: (holds him close, rubbing his back and making hushing noises)
Wander: [slowly calms dwn, his breathing slowly getting normal]
Hater: (hugs him, rocking slightly) :(
Wander: Do u... reli love me...? Do u reli want me... in ur life forever...?
Hater: ;( I do... I really do...
Wander: U... U mean it...? There's no one else u would rather be than little ol' me...?
Hater: Not anyone at all... (continues hugging him)
Wander: [nuzzled close to his chest] Pls... Don't abandon me... Don't leave me alone... But... If u hv to... If u want to... Don't take my babies away... They're all I've got without u...
Hater: :( ...I won't. (hugs him more)
Wander: [hugged Hater tight, taking in more of his scent until he fell asleep in his arms]
Hater: :) (cradles him gently in his arms)
Wander: |-)
Hater: (gives his forehead a kiss)
Random Watchdog: [peeks out frm behind the counter] All done, sir? We'd like to close up cafeteria now
Hater: Hm? Oh yeah, we're good. (nod)
Random Watchdog: [nodded n helped them clear the dishes n started turning off some of the cafeteria lights]
Hater: (still carrying Wander)
[the couple made it bk to their room]
Hater: (lays Wander gently on the bed, stroking his hair)
Wander: [mumbled in his sleep] |-) ...Mm... Wuv you, Hatey... (heart)
Hater: :) ... Love you too, Wander...
