[a few hours later, Wander slowly stirred frm his sleep]
Wander: Nnnhh... [a splitting headache seared thru his brain] (doh) Uuuuggghhhh...
Hater: (had been asleep) |-) Zzz...
Wander: [hears the snoring n turns to see Hater sleeping nxt to him] :| .... :$
Hater: |-) Zzz...n...no... I don't wanna leave...
Wander: (giggle) [gently traced his finger along Hater's jaw]
Hater: (snorted) H-huh? (yawn)
Wander: Hey there, sleepy head [hit with another searing headache] (doh) Uuughhh...
Hater: Hey... :^) Feeling a hangover, are we?
Wander: Nnnhh... Yeah... I... normally don't drink... Syl usually does all the drinking for me... =m=;;
Hater: (gently rubbed his head) You need anything? Water, perhaps?
Wander: Water would be great, n some hangover pills. I usually get it from Hatty...
Hater: (nod) (gets the hat that had been in the corner this whole time and handed it to Wander)
Wander: [tries to move to dig inside the hat bt his head was throbbing so hard he could barely lift a finger] Uuughhh... >m<;;
Hater: Want me to help with that?
Wander: [nodded weakly as he curled in the covers, his headache killing him]
Hater: (takes the hat and cautiously digs his hand inside) (thinks; be nice to me, be nice to me, be nice to me...)
Hat: [not letting him find anything first just make him sweat]
Hater: (unable to find what he needed) :| C'mon, Wander's not feeling so good and you wanna mess around with me?
Hat: [wriggled a bit, like its version of an eye-roll before expanding its hole to let him dig deeper]
Hater: (dug deep inside, hoping to get what he needed)
Hat: [finally lets him find a warm bottle of water n hangover pills]
Hater: (nod) Thanks.
Hat: [flopped in a "Yeah, whatevr' fashion"]
Wander: =~=;;
Hater: Hey, Wander. I got what you need. :)
Wander: Nnnhhh... Thanks... [tilted his head, giving him a "Feed me" look]
Hater: :$ (gently gave him the pills and helped him sip down his water)
Wander: [swallowed the pills n laid his head on to Hater's lap] I'm sorry...for everything... I shouldn't hv shut u out like tht... :(
Hater: NO...if anything, it's MY fault... I should've told you earlier...about why I did all of this... :(
Wander: Yes, bt I get it, I understand why u did wat u did... I should've been more mature abt it n talked it out with u, not just walk out on u n shut u out n drown myself in booze... I'm usually always the first person to try n talk things thru, I'm better than this... I understand if u don't...wanna be with me anymore... ;(
Hater: :( No, I still do, really I do... (hugged him gently) I don't want anyone else but you.
Wander: How... How could u still want me...after wat I just did to u...? ;(
Hater: Cause you're never the type of person to hold a grudge against someone forever, you always forgive them in the end, even if they did do really stupid stuff... :(
Wander: Bt I reli screwed up... This is the longest I hv ever shut someone out... I'm nvr like this... If Papa didn't intervened, I probably would've drank myself to death... ;(
Hater: :( rocked him gently)
Wander: I'm sorry... I'm so sorry... I'm so so sorry... ;( [sobbed in his arms]
Hater: :( It's okay, it's okay... I'm sorry, too... ;( (also sobbed)
Wander: It's... It's not fair... Ur a good person... U don't deserve to die... I don't want u to die... ;(
Hater: :( I don't either...but there's no way to cure this... Just... stay with me till my last day...
Wander: It's not fair... Why...? Why do good ppl hv to die early...? Mama... n my siblings all died... N now ur gonna die... I... I wish it were me instead... ;(
Hater: :( No...the galaxy needs it's most friendly face...
Wander: It's just not the same without u... I'm more friendly coz of u... Coz I hv u to look forward to... If ur gone, who can I... ;(
Hater: ;( I don't know... I don't know... (continued to hold him)
Wander: [sobs some more in his arms] I love u... I love u so much... I fell in love with u since the first day I met u at Planet Binkleborp. I knew u were trying to conquer it, I knew Sylvia said u were bad, bt I fell in love with u anyway...
Hater: ... (lifted Wander's chin gently and leaned in for a kiss, as gentle as he could)
Wander: [was taken aback by the kiss, bt slowly eases in, kissing him deeper, wrapping his arms ard his neck, kissing him thru his tears]
Hater: Mmm... (held him close, kissing a bit more)
Wander: [sniffled as he kissed him some more, tho his hand reached up n accidentally brushed against one of his horns n Hater's power just so happen to act up n zapped his hand] Ahh! (doh)
Hater: :O S-sorry. (began to pull away)
Wander: [nursed his hand] It's OK... Is that wat ur cancer does...? Make u lose control of ur powers like before...?
Hater: In...my second stage, yes... I don't know when I'll be reaching third... (worry)
Wander: Maybe u should ask ur doctor abt it, although... I hope it won't be soon... :(
Hater: :( Me too...
Wander: How... How long do u hv? How many stages r there?
Hater: Just four... :(
Wander: That means ur already halfway there... :( .... ;( .... Hatey... I dunno if I can do this... I know I said I should've been there for my family wen they were dying from that plague... Bt now that I hv the chance with u... I dunno if I can do this... Just watch u slowly wither away... ;(
Hater: :( We'll think of something...some way that I can still be with you after I pass on...
Wander: ;( [hugged him tight, burying his face on his chest as he cried some more]
Hater: ;( (held him close, also sobbing)
[the couple just held each other like that in their arms, letting it all out]
Hater: (sniffled, nuzzling Wander lightly)
