Peepers: [was checking out the local foods as usual, no thanks to his increased appetite]

Brad: (was with him) Craving again, are we?

Peepers: Eh heh, kinda ^^;; I reli hate this stage tho. This was one of the reasons I couldn't hide my pregnancy from Iris bk then

Brad: I bet. ^^;;

Peepers: [sees quite a number of food carts n food trucks] Ugh, I feel like I wanna just pick up that food cart n just tilt the food inside into my mouth >n<;;

Brad: (chuckle)

Peepers: Sorry for my crazy appetite. I literally hv no control over it except ur little munchkin inside me =~=

Brad: I know. :)

Peepers: [sees a restaurant up ahead tht apparently sells jumbo-sized food at a bargain price] Ooh, let's try tht one :)

Brad: ^^;; My wallet might not survive this.

Peepers: But... But it's a bargain price... [his face looked pouty n sad] `OmO`

Brad: ...Okay, okay, we'll try it out. ^^;;

Peepers: :D [enters happily with Brad, only to see it was quite empty without customers]

Waiter: Customers! Welcome, welcome! [enthusiastically led them to a seat]

Brad: Heh, thanks.

Peepers: Ummm, thanks [looked ard the empty area] Uh, if u don't mind me asking... Why the lack of customers?

Waiter: Oh, that... [laughed a little nervously before sighing] It's coz our boss who was also our head chef just passed away a yr ago, n his children didn't want to inherit his business. Our sous chef who was our boss's protege decided to take over, bt our regulars were not confident that he would do as well as our boss, so they stopped coming

Brad: So, we're like, the first costumers you've had in this place?

Waiter: U can say tht. Tho we're technically shutting dwn soon, so we wanted to get rid of as much stock as possible before it goes bad, thus the jumbo-sized promotion, sadly ur the only ones who were interested so far

Peepers: Well, I guess we can help u take those food off ur hands. I'll hv all the jumbo food u hv to offer.

Waiter: R-Reli? :O

Brad: (nod) Trust me, he'll need it. And so will our little munchkin. (placed a hand on Peepers' baby bump) ^^

Peepers: Yup, eating for two, altho it feels more like eating for ten

Waiter: Oh, congratulations! Well, for u, I'll offer the food at bargain price plus discount. N for u, sir?

Brad: Whatever you recommend for a good meal, I guess. :)

Waiter: Coming right up! [rushes off to make the order]

Peepers: Too bad they're closing. This restaurant actually looks kinda decent

Brad: It's just one of those things.

Peepers: Wish there's something we could do for them tho

Brad: Like what?

Peepers: [shrugged] I dunno, like bring bk customers or something, bt I know we're just guests here, we can't do much

Brad: Well, we could recommend this place to anyone who might be interested.

Peepers: I guess we could, hopefully it'll do some good for them

Brad: (nod)

[20 mins later, the food finally arrived]

Waiter: Sorry for the wait. Time to cook jumbo-sized food took longer than we thought [serves them the food]

Brad: :) No, it's okay.

Peepers: Wow, this looks n smells amazing. How could those customers not want to come eat this?

??: Bcoz they prefer food from the maestro, not the protege

Waiter: [turns to see] |-( Oh it's u, Blerb. Here for a free drink again?

Brad: ? You know him?

Waiter: It's Blerb. He n his dad used to be regulars here wen the boss was alive.

Blerb: [a tall lanky red alien with long limbs] Hey, I'm still a regular here

Waiter: Regular freeloader, that's wat it is

Blerb: With the business the way it is, I'm doing u a favour [sits at the bar counter] My usual soy milk smoothie, pls

Brad: :^) (kept Peepers close to him)

Peepers: [ignores the guy in favour of enjoying his food] Om nom nom...

Blerb: Woah, ur seriously eating that? ALL of that?? :O

Brad: :| Yeah, he's with baby. You got a problem with that?

Blerb: Nope, no problem

Waiter: Stop bothering my customer. Unlike u, he actually ENJOYS the food :^)

Brad: (giggle)

Blerb: |-( Yeah, yeah, whatever [sipped his drink] Hmmm... Hey, pipsqueak. U mind if I film u eat?

Peepers: Huh? Why?

Blerb: I'm an amateur food vlogger, n maybe I might generate some buzz for my vlog by filming u eat

Waiter: Emphasis on "amateur"!

Blerb: Shut up~! <_<

Brad: :^) I dunno...

Peepers: Ehh, it's fine. I'm used to stares by now. Who knows [whispered] Maybe we might be able to help spread the word abt this place thru him

Brad: (whispers) Think so?

Peepers: [whispered] Wat hv we got to lose?

Brad: (nod)

Peepers: Yeah, sure, go ahead. Knock urself out. Just don't try stealing my food n we're good

Blerb: Cool. Let's do this live [turned on his tablet, clicked some buttons, n was on live feed] Hello, my fellow foodies, Blerb here streaming live on my Yum Yum Vlog. I'm here today again at my old haunt Dreamboat Cafe & Restaurant, n as u can see, we finally hv someone trying to attempt the jumbo-sized food promotion this sad, sad establishment is trying to promote in their desperate attempt to get bk in the game

Waiter: Hey! Stop making us look bad!

Blerb: [ignores him] N here r the lovely couple who r here for the jumbo-sized food. State ur name, guys~

Brad: ^^;; (ate his own dish)

Peepers: Peepers the Watchdog, n my boyfriend Brad Starlight

Blerb: Tell us, why r u attempting this jumbo-sized food feat?

Peepers: [shrugged] I'm just hungry, well, more like my baby is hungry [shoveled food into his mouth]

Blerb: Look at him go. Let's see wat he ordered [read the names of the food he ordered based on the menu]

Brad: (chuckle)

Blerb: [continued filming Peepers, making crazy comments n impressed exclamation abt wat he was eating n how he was eating them]

Peepers: [ignored him n kept eating, pretending he wasn't there]

Brad: (also ate)

[somehow there were ppl started coming in, apparently some of them were his vlog subscribers following his live feed, n others were passerbys who saw Peepers eat thru the window n were impressed n came in to see the buzz]

Brad: (noticed) :) Wow, that actually worked.

Peepers: Huh, it reli did :)

[The ppl coming in started ordering food n drinks, some of them even tried to go jumbo to compete with Peepers]

Waiter: :O W-Wats going on?

Brad: :) Seems your friend here helped your restaurant go more in business.

Blerb: Ur welcome btw (smirk) [continued his live feed]

Waiter: [quickly runs in excitedly to tell the staff to get busy]

Brad: :D

Peepers: Well, I'll be darned...

[More ppl came in, n soon the restaurant was bustling like it used to]

Brad: :) That was easy enough.

Peepers: Prolly should've done tht a long time ago. Well, I suppose thanks to u, even tho ur pretty annoying at first

Blerb: One of my many charms :D

Peepers: [soon finished all his food n let out a loud satisfied burp]

Brad: XD

[everyone watching, even Blerb, clapped at his feat] (clap) (clap) :D :D :D :D (clap) (clap)

Brad: (clap)

Peepers: Thank u, thank u [takes a bow]

Blerb: There u hv it, folks! Live frm Dreamboat Cafe & Restaurant. Think u can beat tht? C'mon ovr then! This is Blerb, signing off for Yum Yum Vlog :D

Brad: :)

Waiter: [comes to the couple] Oh sirs, I can't thank u enough. If u hadn't shown up, we would've been closed for good

Peepers: Don't thank us. Thank ur regular too. We just came here to eat. He created the buzz

Brad: (nod) Yeah, he did.

Waiter: [turns to Blerb] I suppose I owe u one

Blerb: A lifetime supply of smoothies?

Waiter: A year's supply. We need to earn a living, u know, n a discount on food

Blerb: Guess beggars can't be choosers [shrugged]

Peepers: Well, guess we sorta made someone's day :)

Brad: :) We sure did. Mostly our little munchkin. ^^

Peepers: Heh, yeah. Their first good deed n they're not even out of the womb yet [stroke his middle]

Brad: (chuckle)

Peepers: Which reminds me... After Awesome n Sylvia's wedding, I think we should go bk to ur home planet to find out abt ur parents

Brad: (blinked) Really...? We can do that?

Peepers: Of course. I know I shouldn't be traveling so much now tht I'm carrying our little munchkin, bt I hv a feeling if we don't do it soon, it'll be too late, n u won't hv any closure. U deserve to know the truth abt ur parents

Brad: ... (embraced Peepers) Thank you...Princess...

Peepers: Heh, no probs, hotshot. Besides our munchkin needs to know who their daddy's parents r like at least

Brad: :)

Peepers: [hugged him bk, nuzzling him]

Brad: (hugged, giving him a kiss)

Blerb: [took the opportunity to take a photo shot] One for the Dreamboat Cafe Wall of Fame~ :D

Peepers: [rolled his eye humorously]

Blerb: [used his portable mini printer n printed out two photos, one a screenshot of his video of Peepers eating the jumbo meal n one was of Brad kissing Peepers surrounded by empty plates] Someone is super adorable (hearteyes) [stuck them onto the empty corkboard tht had the huge stencil letters saying WALL OF FAME] There. First of many to come :D

Brad: (facepalm)

Peepers: (giggle) Could we at least get a copy as well?

Blerb: Oh sure, no probs! [printed it for them] Here ya go

Brad: (sees it) Heh, guess it is cute. :$

Peepers: Tht's one for our photobook then (giggle) [giggled as he pocketed the pictures]
